Guitar Guru

I’m leaving on Monday to finally become a Guitar Guru. I’m going to attend a course which has been in circulation now for a good few months

Guitar Guru is about teaching beginners to advanced guitarist to understand all concepts relating to the Guitar Guru course which covers effects, alternate tunings, slide playing, blues finger picking and improvisation. Any modern musician would benefit by attending it. It’s been on my mind for sometime now to join and reap the benefits so I’m over the moon about joining, I intend to put my heart and soul into practising which will make me play better.

I’ve been working on various scales as well as arpeggios this has bettered my alternate picking control and contributed to my dexterity:
– Having the ability to play over chord changes when soling over the more challenging songs is a great advantage for any style,
– Such points of practice are a major contribution you’re your overall understanding and it add credibility to your musical theory contributions especially lead.
- Read slowly and consume each piece of information slowly then play what you read.
- All you learned will become natural.
– By finding time each day just dedicated to learning and mastering the different techniques which you will soon use as a session guitarist

Having the ability to play over chord changes when soling over the more challenging songs is a great advantage,

A very good Guru for me is Gary Moore, I think he had very tasteful phrasing which he applied on numerous Thin Lizzy tracks as he did on numerous tracks in his solo career.
